Situated along the stunning waters of the Dubai Marina, this residential project presented us with an opportunity to transform a seemingly small space into a home that is a conversation starter. In doing so, we worked closely along the lines of an art gallery, creating movement through the project that allows a user to pause and appreciate the space or the artwork around them.

The design embraces a warm and inviting ambiance while radiating a youthful energy that breathes life into every corner.

The existing space was constructed in a way that closed off the living areas, and it was efficiently used. It was necessary to clear out a few selected walls; by making these tweaks in the house, we were able to create a large impact within the space. 

Art pieces have been strategically placed through the space to facilitate easy movement from one reference point to the next. A user is first welcomed with a sculpture placed in a niche at the entry, followed by a suspended art piece with a metallic backdrop to complement the artwork, followed by a striking wallpaper piece that acts as the central artwork in the living area—tying together all the various other art pieces in the room

Neotenic furniture pieces have been added to give the space a playful energy. 

To maximize the bedrooms, the design embraces an approach that expands the perceived dimension. Seating arrangements are provided against the window, allowing visitors to enjoy the breathtaking view of the Marina Waterfront. Elevating the master bedroom, a walk-in closet is provided, which seamlessly leads one to the master bathroom with sliding doors optimizing the space better.

The design characterizes playfulness and experimentation through different textures and vibrant pops of colors, giving a youthful energy.

With a seamless fusion of style and functionality, the space captivates and inspires, catering to a crowd looking for a home that is young, fresh, and modern.
