Fabidha Safar-Rahman, design director, Design Matter Interiors

Fabidha Safar-Rahman leads Design Matter Interiors with a multidisciplinary approach shaped by innovation, cultural context and human-centred thinking. Over the past year, Safar-Rahman has directed major regional projects including 495,000 sqm of residential towers for GJ Real Estate, redefining contemporary urban living, and the transformation of Aster Hospital Mankhool into a wellness-driven, patient-centred environment. Her work also extends to Riyadh, where her Najdi-inspired façade designs are strengthening regional identity in education spaces. Alongside her advisory role at AI startup Neolocus and her Emirati-craft–inspired carpet collection, Safar-Rahman continues to shape a future-focused, culturally rooted and emotionally intelligent design landscape.
