Located in the vibrant and luxurious Dubai Marina, this stunning residence offers the perfect blend of modern elegance and natural warmth. As one passes through the entrance of the apartment, they are greeted by beautiful wooden paneling that sets the tone for the warm and inviting atmosphere that awaits inside the house.

The main strategy in this residential project’s design was to maximize the space within the existing columns and shafts. The walls to the kitchen are broken down and open up the kitchen, which leads to the whole living area being filled with light. 

A strategy to warm up the house was to introduce statement wood elements throughout the space, from wooden wall paneling from the entry through the internal corridor, TV wall, bookshelves, etc.

The existing layout had a long wall that spanned through the living area’s length, making it vital to break up this blank canvas into usable divisions. The TV wall with a bookshelf visually divides the spaces into 2 separate seating zones for a formal and informal arrangement in an open seating layout.

The warm tones of the wood are complemented by rust accents in the furniture and art pieces placed throughout the house. The central kitchen island allows the kitchen to seamlessly blend into the living area, making it a haven to host gatherings for larger groups.

The wood paneling leads the user towards the bedrooms; the doors seamlessly blend into the paneling as they span the total height of the wall. Bedrooms are designed to maximize the stunning view of the marina while continuing the wood tones in subtle ways through the headboard or wardrobes.  

In contrast, the bathrooms are kept moody and dark with a play of various shades of grey through marble and tiles.
