In the bustling new communities of Dubai South, Dolce e Fiore—a novel florist brand that blurs the lines between retail and F&B—the design ethos revolves around a palette of grey concrete textures infused with muted pinks, creating a space that is both modern and inviting. A mood board that is fun but elegant.
The juxtaposition of the muted pink and grey color scheme facilitates a modern, industrial-looking space that has a feminine touch. Against the dark shades of grays, the elegantly showcased array of fresh blooms and curated floral arrangements take center stage. Pops of playfulness are incorporated with terrazzo in the counters (retail and F&B) and planters placed at strategic positions in the space.
Adjacent to the floral retail area is the F&B section, seamlessly integrated into the overall design. As a user enters the space, the ceiling feature distinctly divides the space into two—the bronze mirror ceilings for the retail space and the metal mesh ceiling for the cafe. This flower shop gives customers the provision to dwell in the space longer, take their time and look at the products, and sip freshly brewed coffee on sleek, comfortable furniture as their floral arrangement is prepared.
The flower arrangement counter allows the florist to get an overview of the whole store while creating the customers’ arrangement with quick access to accessories that are required.
