Aster Hospital – Mankhool opened its doors as the first Aster Hospital to be established in the UAE to meet the increasing demands of super-speciality healthcare facilities to cater to the growing population in the region.
10 years later, the demand has only increased. Aster Mankhool sees large volumes of patients daily, and the demand is only increasing, and the facility needs to meet these demands.
This renovation project focused on elevating the experience for the numerous patients who visit the hospital, streamlining the flow of patients within high-traffic zones.
Issues with the previous design:
With the increase of demand and inflow of patients, the hospital evolved its layout over the years to accommodate the sheer volume of users that came through their doors. This led to discrepancies between design intent and space planning.
