As a design professional trained and living in the US for a decade, commercial design has always been the core of Fabidha’s design skills and preferences. As a part of the design team at an architecture firm in San Francisco, she was privileged to interact with and design for clients who are industry leaders in technology and real estate.

Having grown up in Dubai, she also has an understanding of subtleties in local culture and design. Since moving back to Dubai, she founded Design Matter. Sustainability, good design, ethics and work culture has been her founding principles.

Shameem Mohammed

Interior/Architect

Shameem joined our team in 2021 as our Interior Architect. He contributes during conceptualization, drafting and 3D visualizations. His favorite part of the job is working closely with the design team, clients and contractors to create a space that excels in form and function. Apart from the design you will find Shameem at the football turf or trying out new restaurants all over Dubai.

Deepti Daniel

Design Trainee

Deepti is our freshly graduated Architect, who joined us as an Intern in 2021 and in 3 months has become our Design Trainee. With a strong background in Graphics Design, Visual Communication and Architectural Journalism, Deepti comes forth with new perspectives while designing and creating concepts. If she isn’t designing, you’ll find her tucked away with her sketchbook.

Rafeeq Poovancheri

Architect

Rafeeq is an Architect who joined our team in 2019 and specializes in 3D visualization. He believes design is the meeting point of art and engineering and his favorite part about the job is to see the design transition from paper to reality. If Rafeeq isn’t pondering over design solutions, you will catch him out and about with his camera to get the best shot of a stunning view.
